MIND PUMP PODCAST

5 podcasts per week. Each episode is approximately 1 hour.

Mind Pump consists of 3 hosts; Sal Di Stefano, Adam Schafer and Justin Andrews. Sal is the geek with a thirst for knowledge, and a memory to help teach and practice that thirst. Adam is an ex bodybuilder who is a regular foil to Sal’s opinions. When these two debate a subject, it can become pretty intense. Justin is the more chilled guy, and is the perfect balance to the other two. They are all personal trainers with more than 20 years experience each behind them.

In general, four of their weekly releases are shows which are split into two parts. In the first half of these podcasts they have a general chat about life, which could include anything interesting that’s happening around them or the world at that time. During this part of the show they will discuss new scientific research papers within the world of health and fitness. The second half of the show consists of a Q&A.

One of the weekly podcasts will be an interview with fascinating and interesting people from within the space of health and fitness. These are always wide ranging and deep discussions. The boys own full rights to their podcast, and are free to ask questions and challenge however they see fit.

I have been listening to Mind Pump since the end of 2017 when I discovered them through Mike Matthews. They remain my main source of updated information on evidence based scientific studies. I find listening to discussions or an interview far more interesting than listening to a monologue, and these guys hit the balance perfectly. They have integrity, humility, brains, brawn and a desire to continually improve themselves and others. A truly fantastic source of entertaining health & fitness education.
