BEN COOMBER RADIO

2 podcasts per week. Each episode is approximately 45 minutes.

Ben is a nutrition coach and motivator who keeps his message simple and concise. He is also the founder of the BTN Academy where I gained my coaching qualification. His podcasts are regularly ranked at the top of the UK health & fitness charts.

He puts out two episodes per week. A short sharp Monday motivator where he will give some thoughts and ideas as to how people can make steps towards improving their lives. Then on Thursday he releases a more in depth podcast which can be an interview with other professionals in the field of wellness, or a Q&A session with his collaborator Tom Bainbridge.

Ben is very close to my heart for a few reasons. He happens to be a Suffolk boy like me, and he was kind enough to give me an hour of his time in the summer of 2018, when he invited me to his home, where we went for a walk in the country to talk about my progress.

This was at a time when I was feeling a little isolated and stuck, not quite sure what my next steps would be. Ben just listened and gave me some ideas as to how to move forward, which helped me overcome a stumbling block in my journey and kept me on track towards my goals.

On January 1st 2019 I wrote a heartfelt reflective email to Ben and Tom, thanking them for all they do for me. On 6th June 2019, podcast episode #431 Life Upgrading, Purpose & Having Fun, Ben read my email out on a Q&A session, which caused the podcast to venture into a very different direction around passion and learning. They didn’t even read a single question out, which I think is the first and only time this has happened on one of their Q&A podcasts. My email was read out around the 9 minute mark, where prior to that Tom had spoken about the graduates of the latest Practical Academy, which happened to be the intake where I received my coaching qualification.
